My knee unexpectedly gave out, and I now need a knee replacement. As a self-employed heavy equipment mechanic, I depend on being physically able to work to provide for my wife and two kids. I’ll be off work for at least 12 weeks recovering, and being self-employed means no paid time off or paycheck while I’m unable to work.

I’m asking for a little help covering medical expenses and keeping up with basic household bills while I recover and get back on my feet. My biggest concern is making sure my family is taken care of during the time I can’t work.
