On December 31,2025 Kory Barton left this earthly world to go home to his eternal destination. He left behind a “mini me” son, Chandler (6), a BEAUTIFUL daughter Carsyn (8), and a slew of kids that he claimed as his own. Kory was so loved, and loved back hard. If you were one of Kory’s friends, you weren’t his friend, you were his family and he took care of you to the best of his ability and then some.

Kory was born on January 11, 1992 and truly lived life to the fullest. He had some wild ideas to have fun, and boy were they fun. He ended up falling victim to addiction and even during that time, he still took care of his own and would give the shirt off of his own back to take care of anybody. Kory was raised with morals and manners and never strayed from either. Even in his darkest days you’d hear that southern draw “yes maam” or “thank ya maam”.

After his battle with addiction, Kory straightened out and became the clean, well respected man that he had always been. This lasted for 3 strong years before the Cancer took over. He fought one hard and long battle before it finally took him from his loving family and children.

No parent should have to bury a child, and no small child should EVER have to watch their fun, adventurous dad become weak and incapable of doing the things they were used to doing.

With Summer inching up on us, this fundraiser is not only to help assist with everything his babies need, but to help them have the fun summer they deserve after all that they’ve been through.
