Hi my name is Brooke Stromberg, I am in my first year of college at the Los Angeles Film School! I am earning a bachelor's of science degree in creative writing for film and television. I have to pay $2,315.00 per semester out of pocket because I don't qualify for any private loans due to not having good credit. The total amount I will have to pay for the entire 3 year program is $13,890.00 I have been doing any work that I can to raise the money but am still barely scraping by. I am extremely passionate about completing this program and have a dream of writing and creating a family drama tv series based on true events about a multi-talented family band that get a taste of overnight fame and success in the music industry but when one of them starts to spiral out of control struggling with mental health and a serious addiction problem it affects the entire family nearly beyond repair. This will tell the story of the good, the bad, and the ugly truth of their battle against the war on drugs and the unconditional love and support it takes for them to overcome it. Together they have a plan and a chance to make a positive impact helping others through their music, sharing their experience and leading by example to choose the moral high road and pursue their passions even if it's just one more person one day at a time learning how to live their best life.

By the time I finish the program, I plan to be working full time writing for other companies and people in the industry, even if I don't end up creating my own show. I just know that this is my calling.
