Laura's Lymphoma Journey

Dear Friends,
If you've been directed to this site and aren't yet up to speed with what's happening with Laura Flemming's health, please check out update #1 and #9 for the details. In brief, she's been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma and after a year of chemo will head to a stem cell transplant at City of Hope on December 1.
Many of you have asked what you could do to help Laura in addition to praying. Their church community quickly stepped in with meals (meal train link) and childcare, so that has been a huge blessing. If it's not possible for you to drop off a meal or come over and fold a load of laundry, another tangible way to help is with medical expenses. They have a pretty high deductible ($6,000) and a new insurance year will begin before the treatment is complete. This FreeFunder site is a good way to get funds to the Flemming family. There's just a little charge similar to a credit card charge by the bank app company. If you're uncomfortable using this site, you could always just snailmail them an old-fashioned check! (Feel free to email Lisa for their address.)
Laura and Ben know that God will provide for their every need and that ultimately, Laura's Healer is the Maker of heaven and earth. This fundraiser is another way to encourage and bless them on their journey. So please keep praying for healing and strength to get through this battle, and thank you for any help you can send their way.
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! Psalm 34:7-9
