My wife, Lauren Howie Catlin, needs your help. On the morning of Thursday, June 25th a pickup truck going over 45 mph t-boned her vehicle at a nearby intersection. I almost lost her that morning. The firefighters extricated Lauren from the driver's side by cutting off her door. The paramedics placed a collar around her neck, immobilized her, and rushed her to the hospital by ambulance. After numerous x-rays and scans in the ER, we were told that Lauren had multiple fractures in her pelvis and tailbone. Lauren has been in intense pain since the accident. The orthopedic specialists decided to let her pelvis heal naturally, without surgery. She was discharged and a physical therapist comes to our home twice a week to help her with strengthening exercises.

Lauren's car is a total loss. Prior to the accident, it had been paid for. We have auto insurance but know that it will not cover the price of a replacement vehicle, and we have not heard anything on medical coverage yet.
