I had a thriving career as a professional lifeguard, trainer, survival swim teacher, and department manager when I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Through years of flares, I learned the best thing I can do for my health is to live a slow paced life, unfortunately leading me to hang up my swim days for good.

I am more than thrilled to go back to school and dedicate my remaining professional years to a cause that will bring about positive change to the environment and communities in the Highlands!
