Elliott is preparing to go through divorce litigations, and needs funds to put forward to obtain adequate representation.

Elliott (they/them) is a queer disabled veteran who has been looking to end this marriage since 2019. Aside from simply being low-income from their disabled status as a veteran, 2020 and a number of other things have pushed this to where it is now. Being free of this would relieve such a burden!

While the details cannot be discussed in full, as it may become a court case, Elliott has and will continue to be a wonderful pillar of our local community. To have them face financial hardship, or worse, just to properly end things with their ex-husband will not just impact them, but everyone around them. They have opened their house multiple times for displaced youth and adults alike, and routinely provide their unyielding support through their local block.

From help moving, hands for gardening, repairs for the local community church, assisting with the food pantry, engaging in 2SLGBTQIA+ advocacy and houseless rights advocacy, showers for in-need individuals, providing free or low-cost childcare for neighbors and friends, and so much more, they are always around and ready to extend a hand to anyone in need.

For all their years of selfless service to their community and their country, I hope that we can extend a hand back to them, and assure they are safe throughout the tumultuous and convoluted process that divorce is.
