Support for Nick Lege and Family
Our dear friend, Nick Lege, has been hospitalized since August 31st in New Orleans due to complications from heart failure at only 45 years old.
On September 6th, Nick was urgently transferred to Duke University Hospital in North Carolina, where he is now under the care of a specialized medical team. He is currently on the waiting list for both a heart and liver transplant.
Throughout this difficult journey, Nick’s loving wife, Arielle, has been by his side every step of the way, while their 10-year-old son, Garin, remains in Louisiana under the care of family.
Unfortunately, Nick has exhausted all of his vacation and sick leave from the Sheriff’s Office, where he proudly serves. While personal savings and insurance have helped, a significant portion of medical and living expenses remains uncovered.
We are asking for your support. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in helping Nick, Arielle, and Garin navigate the financial challenges during this difficult time.
