Let's Help the Manixs!
The past 3 months have been very difficult for the Manix family as they have had to deal with a lot of loss and changes in their family. Tiffany lost her cousin, Casey, over the summer and Tiffany and Adam quickly became the proud parents of Casey's 6-year-old twins, in addition to the 3 biological children they already had.
The school year had just begun and all 5 children were beginning to adjust to their new life when the Manix family took another hard hit. Adam's dad and step mom passed away suddenly and unexpectedly leaving him without his parent and his children without their grandparents. He also has a 12-year-old half-sister who he is currently guardian of.
Adam and Tiffany are struggling to deal with so much loss in such a short period of time and adjust to demands their new family of 8 places on them. They no longer have a vehicle that can get all of them around and everyone is sharing rooms. Tiffany and Adam are very grateful for what they have and never ask for anything, but doubling the number of children in your house from 3 to 6 in just a couple months while also grieving and trying to help your children grieve and understand is very stressful and difficult. All the children see and will continue to see counselors to help them cope with the difficult situations they have been presented with and this type of care comes at a high expense that Tiffany and Adam are more than willing to pay.
While they would never ask for anything, especially money, I am asking for you to please help this family. They have a long road ahead of them and hopefully, with your generosity and the generosity of people as compassionate and empathetic as you we can help them all get through this very difficult time. The money raised will be used to help cover the increase in costs of their increased family size. Thank you in advance for your support.
“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow,” said Audrey Hepburn…please consider helping to brighten the Manixs tomorrows!
