As many of you know Starla has been having complications with her kidneys for some time now.  She has not gone into to complete kidney failure but her kidney is no longer functioning properly and is unable to drain.  

On Tuesday, June 27, Starla will undergo an extensive surgery to reconstruct the ureter and remove an obstruction from her kidneys to her bladder.  She will be hospitalized for several days after the surgery and will not be released back to work for 4-6 weeks.

Starla has four children, three at home and one in college.  She is their primary source of income and  has exhausted all of her sick days due to this illness she has been experiencing.  

As we all know even with health insurance medical expenses can be a financial burden. From copays to travel expenses and most importantly lost wages.  Let's rally together as a family and as a community and help this little family out.
