Let's Make Marc a Survivor
A benefit for the medical expenses of Marc Parrone - husband, father, grandfather & soon-to-be cancer survivor.
Hello everyone ,
If you have been blessed in this life to know my brother, Marc Parrone, personally, you are aware of his generous and joyous heart, his love for his family and friends, and his willingness to help others in any way that he can. Many people have been the recipient of his tender heart and generous ways.
Now it is our turn to help him and believe me, he is finding it extremely difficult to allow me to make this ask.
Marc was diagnosed with cancer of the throat which is affecting his tongue, tonsils, and some lymph nodes. While he is at Stage 4, the doctors tell us it is the type of cancer that can be treated, although the treatment is harsh and hard on the body, and that recovery is often achieved.
Currently, he is undergoing radiation and chemo treatments and surgery is probable after that. His doctor is the best at reconstruction, having been an army surgeon in Afghanistan. Marc has a great team available to him and everyone is working to make sure he recovers well.

The insurance that his wife Annie has through the public school system is an 80/20 coverage and that 20% is adding up quickly. In one month their percentage of the bills has reached $6,000 and he has three months of treatment and a surgery to go. Some of his medications aren't covered by insurance at all. We fully believe the total costs they have to bear will be around $30,000.
Our mom has been with them since his treatments started so Annie can continue to work, and he has continued to go into work when his schedule of treatments and flagging energy allows, but some days he cannot get out of bed. I'm sure those who have been through radiation and chemo, or have had loved ones go through it, understand this cycle.
If you can help, please do. If you can spread the word, I hope you will. No one in this country should suffer losing everything because of medical bills. In this unfortunate phase of Marc's life, we are reaching out for any help we can give him. We appreciate any amount you are able to donate in helping him in this battle against cancer. Please keep him in your prayers and help us spread the word.
