Let's send these girls to camp
It's summer and school is almost out!!!
This last year I have had the privilege of meeting two little girls (ages 9 & 7) who just moved to Chilliwack from Alberta.
Times are tough for their family right now. New summer clothes and extra activities have been out of the question.
The girls love to be busy and enjoy crafts, gymnastics, dance, drawing/ art and trying new things!! I refer to them as the Em & Em's; these kids don't have much but are always willing to go out of their way to help others
With the holidays quickly approaching the girls need to keep busy throughout the day. Neither girl has been to a daytime summer camp (they cost money) and I am hoping we can come together as a community to help these kids have a busy summer they won't forget!
They also need summer clothes, accessories, toiletries etc so the goal includes these items as well.
The girls Momma, is a close friend of mine and we are doing our best to help these amazing kids grow. Their Momma will be in charge of the fund. While we are trying to keep some of the identities private (as they are kids) .. we will post update pictures throughout the summer!!
