Lia Wessel & Family
The cancer that Lia has been diagnosed with is extremely aggressive. In May, none of the tumors were present. Due to the aggressive nature and location of the tumors, Lia's time left will be counted in months.
We, as Lia's family and friends, should continue to hope and pray that she once again beats the odds. However, we are all facing this reality together.
At this time, Daryn and Kelly work overlapping schedules in the evening, which often leaves Lia preparing dinner. This has become not only unfair, but unsafe. Lia doesn't feel well enough to stand for even short periods of time. She also has severe headaches with dizziness which makes the kitchen an unsafe place for her. Any donations towards meals would be greatly appreciated.
Kelly is also driving Lia to Greenfield for appointments every day, sometimes twice a day, so donations towards gas would also be greatly appreciated.

9/15/2024 UPDATE
Lia passed on at 1:53 Saturday morning. We are fundraising for end-of-life expenses. Lia wished to be cremated, have a get together to share stories, and have her ashes spread at a saguaro cactus. She had end-of-life expense insurance that she could get the full amount insured beginning the third year. The third year begins 9/19/2024, so we will only get about $1,500. Thank you for the continued prayers, donations, and love sent our way.
