Life saving treatment

Hello,

This is Jamison, one of the goodest boys. He is a 7 year old Catahoula Leopard dog and a double merle pup. On Sunday night while protecting his family (my husband and his dog sibling), he was bitten by a timber rattlesnake. On top of that he had an allergic reaction to the venom and went into full anaphylaxis. Thankfully we were able to get him to the pet ER just in time. Thanks to the amazing work of the doctors and staff, he made it through the night. So far today he seems to be improving. Now if we could get the seizures and heart arythmia under control he might be able to come home.

The problem is that the vet bill is over $6000 and rising. We love our boy and couldn't imagine euthanasia just because we couldn't afford it. We are hoping that if you are able, you might donate towards his vet bills. Any amount would be amazing! And if you financially cannot we completely understand but ask that you please share this brave boys story.

Jamie's backstory:

This little monster came into our life not long after we moved to Florida. We saw a photo of him all curled up and hiding in the back of a cage at an adoption event and knew he needed to be part of our family. After meeting him, we were in love and it was mutual. He came home with us that day.

He came with some issues as many rescues do; he was a very anxious baby. But that fit our family just fine. With time, love and the bribery of Ritz crackers he came out of his shell. Along with the assistance of his two sisters and brother, they kept our hands full. Splashing in the kiddie pools, hiding under the mattress and taking big naps with dad.

About 2 years ago, we moved out to a more rural area where the pups would have space to run. Jamie loves to run in the fields, slash in the river and then crash out on the couch. Our happy loving and darling scaredy baby really blossomed.

We have hoping for a speedy recovery so he can come home to his family, where he can nap on the beds and be spoiled and pampered.
