🙏 Help Greg Fight Stage 4 Colon Cancer with Life-Saving Treatment 🙏

Our beloved husband, dad, stepdad, and friend Greg McGregor is in the fight of his life. 2 months ago, Greg was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic colon cancer that is inoperable. Chemo cannot cure it, and his doctors in Texas have given him a short prognosis even with conventional treatments.

But we’re not out of hope. After prayerful consideration, Greg and my mom, Theresa have chosen to pursue innovative stem cell treatment at the Alternative Medicine Clinic in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, under the care of Dr. Bars and Dr. Ochoa M.D.. This treatment has been used on others with stage 4 cancer and offers Greg a fighting chance, but it it not covered by insurance.

Greg and my mom flew out this morning (8/20) to begin two weeks of intensive therapy. While they step forward in faith, the financial burden is immense.

• Travel & lodging: graciously covered by their incredible church family

We are so grateful to Rock Creek Church in Aubrey, TX, who generously provided their roundtrip airfare and Airbnb stay in Mexico. The church has faithfully loved and supported Greg and my mom in this difficult season.

As they take this leap of faith, we’re asking our friends, family, and community to come alongside them — lifting them up in prayer and, if you feel led, helping relieve the heavy financial strain this treatment brings.

We also ask that you pray fervently — for Greg’s healing and relief from the physical pain he is in, for peace and strength for my mom and the rest of Greg's family, and for God’s provision every step of the way.

We know that healing is promised — the Lord will restore Greg's body fully in His perfect timing whether here on the earth in this life or in the resurrection. And we are going to take every opportunity God has given us to fight this awful disease and give Greg many more days of hooping with his grandkids. 🏀
