Dakota is a courageous 8-year-old girl with a very serious brain condition known as an Arterial Venous Malformation (AVM). This condition is very life-threatening in which the blood vessels are tangled up and can cause a blockage of blood flow to critical parts of the brain and could lead to a rupture at any point in time. Due to the seriousness and time sensitive status of her illness, she is in need of a very delicate surgery which requires the skills of a world-renowned surgeon in Pheonix, Arizona. This has been very difficult for the family, especially her parents and siblings. The thought of losing a child is unimaginable and terrifying especially when it could happen at any moment. These next several weeks until she is in the hands of the surgeons will be scary, precious, and uneasy for this family as each day poses a risk.
