Link is a very special kitty. He came into our lives as a small foster kitten who was initially an orphan and bottle fed. We fell in love with him and kept him as our family member. Link is only 2 years old and the most sweetest kitty I have ever met. Recently his health took a turn for the worst and suffered a urinary blockage from something called Idiopathic Cystitis. A condition that prevented him from being able to urinate normally and caused him extreme pain. Thankfully this condition is treatable and he is currently at the Southern Oregon Veterinary Hospital receiving 24/7 treatment. For now he is stable and more comfortable but there is a chance this treatment does not work and he may need surgery which we were quoted $4500. So far we have paid $3100 by maxing out our credit cards and clearing our bank accounts. We love our cat and will do anything to save him but the financial burden that his treatment has put on us is heavy. I am reaching out to anyone in a financial position to help us save our cat and keep ourselves from being in anymore financial trouble. Every dollar, dime, and penny donated is greatly appreciated. Our goal with this fund raiser is to pay off the debt we accrued and hopefully put us in a financial position that if we need to cover his surgery we can be ready for that extensive of a financial burden.
