Friends and family of Lisa Edwards.
Lisa was called home to be with her Lord when she passed away suddenly on January 21, 2023. She had suffered a stroke in August 2022, while on assignment as a traveling surgical technologist away from family and friends.
She lived in Chesapeake VA but was born and raised in Brooklyn NY. She always had a smile and kind word to share, but she also had some grit and strength.
She was a good and loving Mother, Daughter, Sister, Auntie, God-mother, Niece, Cousin and friend. She was an entrepreneur, a writer, a commentator on life. She loved good food, good travel, good conversation and she loved the Lord.
She was a Surgical Technologist with Kaiser Permanente in South Baltimore, Yale University in New Haven, DePaul Medical Center in Norfolk and Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk. If you had surgery at any of these places, she may have been there for you.She was a great friend and co-worker. If you knew her, we know you loved her and she loved you right back.
We are opening this fundraiser to help with some of the funeral expenses. If you're unable to attend and in lieu of flowers, please consider donating.
