Supporting a Little Miami Teacher Standing Up for Inclusion

A beloved Little Miami High School teacher is fighting back after the school board ordered the removal of his "Hate Has No Home Here" sign from his classroom — a simple message of welcome and safety that he displayed for his students.

Rather than stay silent, this teacher is taking a stand — and he's now pursuing legal action against the Little Miami School Board to defend his rights and the rights of every student who deserves to feel safe and accepted in their school.

We are raising funds to support his lawsuit. All contributions are paid out to Cara Covington, who will send a check for the full amount to the teacher's attorney, Josh Engel at Engel & Martin, LLC, ensuring every dollar is used to fight for justice in the courtroom. In the event that we raise more funds than needed for the lawsuit, any overage will be sent to local charities benefiting the Little Miami district.

This case is bigger than one sign. It's about what kind of school district we want to be — and whether our educators are free to create welcoming, inclusive classrooms for all students.
