Friends, it's been almost ten years since I asked your help for something like this. Usually I just work side jobs and sleep on the floor in here to keep the shop alive, but since covid the shop has drifted slowly into a deep debt that's making it harder and harder to climb out of. One part of me is ok to just close the place and rid myself of the stress and pain I've endured over the years of trying to run a crazy shop in a crazy town, but the other part of me loves and honors the unquantifiable joy and inspiration this shop had and still has on local artists and musicians. The opportunities and creations that come out of this place are immeasurable, and I'd be ok to leave if it didn't still make such an impact, or if as many folks locally still didn't have such a stake in the place. So in honor of that—I humbly ask for help to keep this place alive somehow. Essentially:

$1,000 will keep this place alive another month

$3,000 will help us restructure the business and buy some new stock.

$5,000 will keep us around the rest of the year

and $10,000 will get us out of debt completely

anything will help, and if we keep this going, it'll be a miracle. No matter what the outcome, it's been an awesome ride and I'm honored to have created so much with so little and with so many great people over the years.
