Our friend Mike Loggia and his family are facing an incredibly difficult and unexpected journey.

Mike’s 8-year-old daughter, Luna, was recently diagnosed with leukemia. Since her diagnosis, Mike and his wife have had to step away from work so they can focus on their daughter and be by her side during treatment. They are traveling back and forth between West Virginia and Washington, D.C., to be with Luna at the hospital.

Luna’s treatment is expected to continue for approximately 10 months.

For an 8-year-old, 10 months of treatment is an incredibly long road. And while Mike's focus needs to be on helping Luna get through this, the financial strain of being away from work, traveling back and forth, and managing the many unexpected expenses that come with a serious illness can be overwhelming.

We’re asking our friends, colleagues, and community to come together to support Mike, his wife, and most importantly, Luna.
