Help Me Save My Home: Immediate Support Needed

Hi! my name is Mary McNeil and I am reaching out with a heartfelt request. I’ve lived in my home for over 10 years, & it has been a place of love, memories, and comfort. Unfortunately, I am now facing the difficult reality of losing it due to overdue property taxes. I’m creating this fundraiser to ask for your help in keeping my home.

Over the past several years, I’ve experienced unexpected medical expenses, loss of income,& I receive only a small monthly disability check, which has made it impossible to stay on top of my property taxes (along with other bills). Despite my best efforts, the outstanding amount has grown to $4,000, and I am at risk of my home being auctioned if I cannot pay by March 1, 2025.

This home means everything to me.It’s where I've been able to assist in raising my grandson who is now 16 & have been able to give my children an occasional place to stay when their own residences have become unavailable.. Losing it would be a devastating blow, both emotionally and financially. 

I have explored every possible avenue to resolve this issue on my own, including seeking loans, cutting expenses, & applying for assistance programs. However, the urgency and amount required have left me with no other choice but to ask for the kindness and generosity of others. 

I am seeking to raise $4,000 to cover the outstanding property taxes and associated fees. Every dollar counts and brings me closer to keeping my home. If you’re unable to contribute financially, sharing this fundraiser with your network would mean the world to me.
