The Lotus Sanctuary is a nonprofit that serves PTSD & Trauma Survivors and meets in Covington KY. We currently provide two online support forums called "The Group Gender Inclusive" and "The Group Gender Womxn," also we hope to resume our monthly Healing Share in February of 2022. This year we are planning to start offering Trauma Workshops and Trauma-Informed Care Therapies. The purpose of this Fundraiser is to generate funds to resume programming and cover startup costs.

We began on May 23rd, 2019 with our first free Healing Share for PTSD & Trauma Survivors, like the rest of the world we have been on a pause with COVID, but we are ready to get back to business. Our future plan is to grow into a fully functioning Holistic PDSD & Trauma Support Center that will help people living with PTSD navigate life, regardless of the source. Trauma has lasting effects that keep Survivors in unhealthy patterns and hinder fulfilling life potential. Our mission statement: The Lotus Sanctuary seeks to assist PTSD and Trauma Survivors to heal themselves through Meditation, Trauma-Informed Care Therapies, Holistic Healing and Life Coaching, so they can overcome living in trauma response patterns and lead happy, productive lives.

How you can help us: 

-Like and share our Facebook Page - Please like our page and share with others. If you are a survivor, a healer, or a volunteer you can join our groups, also like and share our events when you see them posted. *FYI when you share this campaign on Facebook we get donations from FreeFunder for sharing.

-Donate to our campaign! - We are raising $20,000 to set up shop:

   *Purchasing materials and equipment

   *Pay stipends for interns

   *Research and development of future programming

   *Membership dues and fees for Nonprofit or city organizations

   *Further Training in Trauma-Informed Care and Healing Therapies

-Volunteer your time - we are still looking for board members, startup assistance, and volunteers to work our events.
