The purpose of this Fundraiser is to generate funds for The Lotus Sanctuary, a nonprofit that serves PTSD and Trauma Survivors online and in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. The donations will provide money for operations, trainings for staff, new programs, and staging a full-scale fundraising event. In 2024 we will resume our monthly Healing Share, online support groups, and trauma-informed care workshops.

How you can help us: -Like and share our Facebook Page - Please like our page and share with others. If you are a survivor, a healer, or a volunteer you can join our groups, and also like and share our events when you see them posted. *FYI when you share this campaign on Facebook we get donations from FreeFunder for sharing!!!

-Volunteer your time -

a) Volunteer - general or if you are a Healer who is willing to share your gift (Reiki, Sound Healing, Crystal Therapy, etc.) for our monthly healing share.

b) Join our board- looking for 2-4 people

-Be a Sponsor-

a) Be a Tee-Shirt or Venue/Event/Catering Sponsor for our event in 2024 - $250-$500 (name on the back of our shirt) - $1000 or over = company name on our shirt + named as a sponsor in our advertising- flyers/webpage/social media.

b) Become a Corporate Sponsor - companies willing to donate $1,500+ in money, supplies, or services or willing to create a "challenge program" among their industry competitors to match donations for our fundraising campaign = company name on our shirt + named as a sponsor in our advertising for the year- flyers/webpage/social media + a table at our event. -Donate to our campaign! - We are raising $20,000

a) Make a Donation of $22.00 or more and we will send you a signed copy of the book Shaman Heart Turning Pain Into Passion And Purpose (email or send a Facebook message to arrange pick up or provide shipping info)

b) Order a Tee Shirt for a donation of $22.50 (Please leave the size in the notes and email for pickup or to make shipping arrangements)

c) Make a donation - donations in any amount even small ones are always welcome!!

Lotus Sanctuary History and Mission Statement: 

Our first Healing Share for PTSD and Trauma Survivors was on May 23rd, 2019, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Covington KY. We met for several months increasing numbers each month until we had to shut down due to the pandemic. During the shutdown, we also started online support forums called "The Group Gender Inclusive" and "The Group Womxn." We are ready to get back on track and resume fully in 2024. Our future plans are to locate the space for a Holistic PTSD and Trauma Support Center.

Our mission statement: The Lotus Sanctuary seeks to assist PTSD and Trauma Survivors to navigate life after trauma, overcome living in trauma response patterns and heal, through Trauma-Informed Care Therapies, Holistic Healing, and Life Coaching, so they can lead happy, productive lives.
