The Lotus Sanctuary is a nonprofit that serves PTSD & Trauma Survivors who live in the Greater Cincinnati Area. We currently provide an online support forum called "The Group" and a monthly Healing Share. This Fundraiser has been created to generate start up funding.

We began on May 23rd, 2019 with our first free Healing Share for PTSD & Trauma Survivors and to date we have more participants each month. Our future plan is to grow into a fully functioning Holistic Trauma Support Center, that will help people navigating life after Trauma. Whether the Trauma was recent or was an event that happened years ago, Trauma has lasting effects that keep Survivors in unhealthy patterns and hinder fulfilling life potential. Our mission is to help Survivors to heal themselves through Meditation, Trauma Yoga, Life Coaching and other holistic modalities so they are able lead happy, productive lives and can reach their life goals.

How you can help us this #GivingTuesday: 

• Like and Share our Facebook Page - Please like our page and share with others. If you are a survivor, a healer or volunteer you can join our groups, also like and share our events when you see them post.
• Donate to our campaign! - We are raising $15,000 for start up costs, which includes setting up shop; i.e. purchasing materials and equipment, paying stipends for two interns to help with research and development of programing, membership dues and fees, nonprofit/Trauma workshops and training
• Volunteer your time - we are still looking for board members, startup assistance and volunteers to work our events.
• Be a corporate match - we are looking for companies to provide a matching grant for our Giving Tuesday campaign this year. Email us [email protected] if you are interested.
