Laurent is a wonderful person with a heart of gold. She is enrolled in a veterinary technician program to be able to help care for all the animals out there needing medical attention.  As some of you may know, vet techs give their heart and soul into their job and get very little monetary compensation in return.  About five months ago Laurent adopted a little westie puppy named cleopatra and named her Cleo for short.  Cleo was an adorable puppy that Laurent loved with all her heart. About a month ago Cleo fell down the stairs and broke her leg. The best way to fix Cleo was with expensive surgical repair. Laurent arranged a payment plan to have the leg fixed knowing that she was going to have to pay monthly for years.  Cleo appeared to recover well and went home.  This past Monday Cleo went in to acute respiratory distress and sadly arrested despite Laurent doing every thing she could for her. Now she is faced with paying back thousands of dollars in veterinary care and all without Cleo.  If you could find it in your heart to donate something to help financially, I know she would be extremely grateful, even though she has not asked for help. The money will 100% be used for Cleo's medical bills for the previous surgery, as well as her more recent bill.  Thank you so much for your empathy and support.
