On 03/05/26 the unthinkable happened. Love got free from me while I was cleaning the van. She ran up to another dog but the dog that was not on a leash,the dog was not having it. Then the owner of the dig began to beat Love hitting her several times and kicking her over and over again . I tried to shield her with my body hoping he would stop but he wouldn't stop I was screaming for help finally people came we were so exhausted we just laid there .I desperately need to get her to a vet she is struggling to walk i need to make sure there's no internal damage she took over 20 hits to the body and face over 20 kicks to the body.. I've been calling and emailing organization for help but nothing yet.

Being unhoused and dealing with my own medical battles, I simply do not have the funds to cover the emergency vet bills, medications, and follow-up care Love desperately needs to recover.

Love has spent her life taking care of me—now it is my turn to take care of her. She is a fighter, but she can’t do this alone.
