Hello, My Name is Cindy,

I am asking for help with getting a vehicle, my truck stopped running in December of 2025. I normally wouldn't ask for help and save and wait until I could get another one on my own like last time; But, I need to move out of my apartment sooner than expected. Having a vehicle for me and my 3 dogs will make it easier for us to get around while we look for a new place to live. How the amount of 8,000 will be spent: 4,000 - 5,000 for a vehicle big enough for all us; 1,000 for title transfer, registration, and taxes; 1,000 for any immediate repairs, such as tires and smog; the last 1,000 will be used for gas and place to stay, like camping; until we find a more permeant place.

In April, I was given a notice by management that I needed to get rid of one my dogs (Axel) or move out! As you have read, I have chosen to move out. My dogs are my family, my babies; we are a pack, they are my life. I hate having to ask for help, knowing how rough it is these days and everyone has their own families and love ones to take care of and save for any emergencies that may arise. So, any amount, if possible would mean a lot and be very appreciated!

The reason for the unexpected move is that according to management one of my dogs bit her during a fire inspection in February of this year. The way she explained how it happened and that she wasn't aware she had even been bitten until later when she saw the blood on her leg.

I have 3 big dogs, which none of them have every bitten anyone and if they had, you would have been aware of it right when it happened. I am not saying that it's okay for my dog to bite someone, all am saying it wasn't mine. That is why I tried to fight against the fact that it was my dog who bit her; with an attorney and all the evidence we could show, it wasn't enough to keep my place without giving my dog away. It didn't help that my two youngest Axel and Blue are pit bull and husky mix; the oldest, Sherman is a Catahoula leopard.

I rescued all 3 dogs and never planned on living in an apartment with 3 dogs! When I rescued Sherman, the who brings the wisdom to the pack, he was 5 months old and i lived in the country, he is now 10 years old and brings the wisdom to our pack. We meet Axel and Blue when we became homeless after a ladder fall prevented me from returning to work and had to live in our truck. Axel and Blue are bothers and they would come over to our camp area to play.

Axel, the baby of the pack; was rescued when he was abandoned by his homeless owners who decided to move back down south and left him behind to fend for himself at 5 months old. Once I found this out, I went to his camp and called for him, he came running jumped in my truck and hasn't left! Shortly after this I was approved for the current apartment we are living in; we would still plan play dates to go and visit with Blue who was still homeless with his owner. A few months later the homeless encampment was bull dozed and everyone out there had to find new places to live. Blue and his owner asked to stay with me until she could find a new place to stay; of course I said yes. She stayed for 4 days before she left one day leaving Blue, with us and never came back. This is how Blue, the protector, became part of our pack and how I ended up living in an apartment with 3 great, fun loving, and deserving dogs!

Raising any amount of money will be life changing for us, it will be something that we can use to make our next step to finding another place to call home. Like everyone else, I know how tight money is these days and that it doesn't come easier. I would like to express that I am usually the one trying to help others and that after we get back on our feet that everything raised will be paid forward!!
