Lucy's Cancer Surgery
Lucy is just the sweetest little girl you'll ever meet, according to us and everyone that knows her. She will be 15 in July but don't let her age fool you. Lucy has been through a lot over the years. Unfortunately she has been prone to lipomas since she was small. She had surgery to remove her largest when she was 7 but the blood supply was too big and only a partial amount was taken off. It did NOT hinder her in any way. She ran, jumped, and played. 2 years ago her largest tumor had outgrown the blood supply and it was dying inside her. She had to have emergency surgery to have it removed or it was going to cost her her life. . It was a 16.6 pound fatty tumor and roughly 8,000.00 cost. We didn't care, we sold any and everything we could to help cover the cost. We saved her life. The day after her surgery the doctors were AMAZED at her recovery. They couldn't believe how well she was doing. Fast forward to present we noticed her eating off and discovered large bruising on her belly. We were referred to Medvet in Columbus OH since this was looking like cancer. Tonight is was confirmed. She does have cancer. To what extent is to be determined in the morning. We are again faced with a financial difficulty with 7,000.00 to 10,000.00 in all. We refuse to let money determine her fate. She is too happy, too playful and too full of life and energy to not give her the best chance possible. Lucy is our little girl, we dont have kids together, we have her. I understand with Covid 19 that this is a terrible financial time for everyone but if you have anything to spare to donate, it would be hugely appreciated. Thank you to all of those who have been praying, sending thoughts and hugs our way the past few days. Please help us save our little girl.❤🐶
