Magee Family

Hey everyone,

Brynnlee Quinn was born on 7/25 and is currently in the NICU at Children's Omaha awaiting her first of many open heart surgeries. Brynnlee has been diagnosed with a complex single ventricle heart defect which will require 3 palliative surgeries with in the first 3 years of her life. There is no cure and ultimately, she will likely need a heart transplant.

She is expected to have a lengthy hospital stay during her first couple months of life. Josh and Amber are both taking time off of work to be able to be present for Brynnlee and learn how to navigate this new lifestyle once she is able to come home to properly care for her. It is very important for them to bond and create memories with Brynnlee, as they continue to struggle with the loss of their Son, Cooper, back in 2019. Being back in the NICU and the uncertainty of Brynnlee's future is a very stressful and emotional time for the Magee Family.

They also have 4 kiddos at home; ages 10, 8, 7, and 20 months that they need to be present for as well. This means commuting to and from Childrens from their home in Louisville, sometimes, multiple times a day. With current gas prices, this will likely limit how often they are able to rotate and coordinate visits with the kids and Brynnlee. Meals and hospital bills are also another thing to factor in.

If you are able and willing to provide a meal or donate monetarily, the following links are available to help you do so. The Magee Family also appreciates and asks for continued prayers as they attempt to navigate this difficult journey.
