Magic Comes in Many Forms

Magic comes in many forms…

While on retreat in Scotland I had a crazy accident. One I still can't believe happened. While walking down an easy path at the Isle of Skye faery glenn I slipped & fell. When I landed my foot was 90 degrees from my body. I had fractured my ankle in 3 places!

It was of course, quite the ordeal. Mountain rescue had to be organized to get me off the mountain, 2 trauma docs on the mountain were able to splint the ankle & restore blood flow until I could get to the hospital, an emergency department visit to get the bones aligned so I could get home, then an arduous journey back to the US. As you can see there has been a lot of magic surrounding me!

Thorough it all I had to surrender to the process, to asking for a lot of help, to the bigger picture. I have had so much support & I am so grateful for all of that.

I have been in medicine for 30 years & an acupuncturist for about 12 years. My life has been dedicated to helping others to heal in mind/body/spirit. I love helping people make their own healing connections!

Now I am here asking for help from my community. I have surgery scheduled in a week to repair the multiple fractures in my ankle, so I will be able to use my foot & walk properly. I am scared for sure! I am doing all the things that I would coach others to do. And it is HARD. Hard not to go into the Northstar of fear but to stay in Love & trust. People have been popping up to show me it will be ok. Late night messages I wake up to in the morning, people rearranging their day to help me to the doctor, groceries dropped off. They are all keeping me connected to the magic & reminding me it will all be ok & work out.

I have started this crowd funding campaign for me to pay for the surgery & my needed recovery. My surgeon is recommending for me to take 2 weeks off of work which would be financially challenging for me to do at this time.

I am raising $20,000 to be able to have this procedure & recover properly.

Will you help me keep the magic going & get to my goal?

Thank you from my Heart

Kimberly
