Our Road Back to Worlds🐾

In April 2027, I have the opportunity to return to the Beauceron World Championship in herding with my dog Tortue...this time in Italy.

Tortue and I have had the incredible honor of competing at Worlds once before, at the very first Beauceron World Championship in France. There, we competed at the HWT level and successfully passed. That experience was unforgettable and it gave me the opportunity to compete alongside some of the best Beaucerons and handlers from around the world.

Now, I want to go back.

Since that first World Championship, I have continued to train, learn, and grow as a handler while building an even stronger partnership with my dog. Tortue comes from a long, ancient line of working Beaucerons, and he carries that heritage with him every time we step onto the field. Working with him has taught me more than I ever expected; not only about herding and training, but about partnership, perseverance, and what it means to believe in a dog. Now, we're ready to take the next step. I have something to prove: not just to the world, but to myself and to my dog. I want to show what an American handler and a Beauceron with a true working heritage can accomplish on an international stage.

In Italy, we are looking to compete at Level 1 (IHTS-1). This will be a significantly bigger challenge than our first Worlds, and I have a goal that I'm not afraid to say out loud:

I want to put Tortue and myself on the podium.

Getting to Italy, however, is a significant financial commitment. Between international travel, transporting my dog, lodging, entry fees, transportation, veterinary requirements, and other expenses associated with competing overseas, the cost adds up quickly.

That's why I'm asking for your help.

Every donation brings Tortue and me one step closer to Italy and another chance to compete on the world stage. Whether it's $5, $25, $100, or whatever you're able to give, every bit helps.
