Making a Massive Shift; Help!

My Dearest Friends, Family, Colleagues and Associates –

I am preparing to embark on an amazing journey of self-discovery, growth, passion and purpose. I have left my full-time role with Executive Movers Service (EMS), where I have spent the last 10 years of my professional life. I have known for much of that time that I was in the wrong place, doing the wrong things, but I was too complacent and scared to change. Well my friends, I have had a monumental shift in consciousness. I have come to develop a deep knowing that there is another path I should be pursuing. I have struggled with the age-old question “what do I want to be when I grow up” for as long as I can remember, and while I haven't quite put my finger on what that is vocationally, I know with surety that I will empower and transform lives, and I have come to recognize that life is too short to settle for anything less than living a life guided by intent & purpose. This has ignited a sense of adventure and passion in me to look inside of myself, to begin growing into who I was meant to be, and to become the greatest version of myself.

My time with EMS helped me connect with some of the greatest people, and grow in ways I never imagined. Just before coming aboard, I had struggled with a debilitating drug addiction which very nearly robbed me of my family & my life. It is amazing to look back on my path and see my evolution to this point, and to simultaneously realize that I'm just getting started on such a powerful trajectory. Among other things, EMS provided a focus which helped in my overcoming the disease, which felt utterly impossible at the time. It is heartbreaking to be leaving the EMS chapter behind, and not having the daily interactions with those whom I have grown so close to over the past decade, but my soul is yearning for growth and expansion, it is calling me toward the missions which I came into this life to accomplish.

There are several projects and paths which I will be exploring, some of which hold great promise. I'll be actively engaged in the one which shows the greatest potential starting Monday, October 16th. Unfortunately, it is something that will take some time and a lot of work before I see any dividends.

I had proposed to EMS that I stay with the company in a part time/evening capacity, to assist in the transition; for the company, our clients and customers, our providers, and for the sake of continual support for my family, but for reasons beyond my capability to reasonably understand, they have declined this proposal. I apologize in advance to anyone who feels a negative ripple effect from my complete departure. I found it important to let you all know that I pushed to remain a resource to the company, to benefit all that I thought would be affected, albeit in a smaller capacity.

One thing I have a strong aversion to now is trading my time for money. Avoidance of the model of trading my time for money has become a focus. While there is great nobility in working as an employee for a company, in most cases, it places a rather fixed limit on the employee's financial and overall growth potential. I know that every one of us have a birthright of abundance, if we but only identify a purpose, follow our passions persistently, and do so with unshakable faith, so we do not allow self-doubt and fear to keep us trapped in mediocrity. Self-doubt and fear are insidious handicaps which have led my decisions almost exclusively to this point in my life, but no more. I now refuse to allow fear to guide my decisions and actions. True growth only happens outside of our comfort zone.

Having said that, I am indeed quite nervous. I am leaving a sure thing and stepping into the unknown. Although I have a firm belief that I am moving quickly towards my own greatness, I also recognize that things will be quite difficult financially for some time. For this reason, I am humbly seeking sponsorship to support my family during this evolution.

I find it very difficult to ask anyone for help, but just like moving towards, rather than away from my fear, I am setting aside my pride and pleading for assistance in naked vulnerability.

I know many people are struggling financially, and I do not want to cause a hardship for anyone. I sincerely appreciate any kind of support you can offer, be it financial or simply emotional. Well wishes, faith and your vocalized belief in me will mean more to me than words can say.

I am, without doubt, going to experience some gap with respect to financial gain. I anticipate 1+1/2 to 3 months without a steady income. Your support, can and will, fill that gap, and help keep the family afloat as I push myself toward my goals, dreams & aspirations.

I Thank You All! You have had an impact in shaping who I am, and more importantly, who I am becoming.

Look inside yourself, for your spark of passion. Listen to that still small voice of intuition as it guides you towards your truth, passion and purpose.

If you don't already, I implore you to come to realize the miraculous power of faith, belief and the profound impact that our thoughts have on our life experience, and the results we come to realize as the physical manifestations of those thoughts.

With Deep & Eternal Gratitude!

PS: I've talked to so many of you over the last couple of days, but there are so many more I didn't get to connect with, and I'm so very sorry for that. The past week has been an absolute whirlwind of preparation, both in my departure from EMS, and my beginning this new path (actually moments away from departing for a trip to the Milwaukee area for training). I want to stay in touch with each of you. My private email is: [email protected] . My personal mobile # is 856-495-6902. Don't ever hesitate to call. You can also look me up on Facebook. Those of you who know me the best, know I'm rarely on Facebook, however, some of my pursuits will push towards my embracing technology and social media, so you should be seeing a lot more social activity from me moving forward. And if you or anyone you know need some help in striving towards your Best Version of Yourselves, I could use some practice to hone my coaching skills. I've become so absolutely passionate and consumed with personal development, that I know it will become on of my primary vocational focuses moving forward, but until I'm ready to take it commercial, I'll be offering coaching sessions for free. You'll have to be patient with me; even though I'm already a couple years into my own development, I still consider my ability to pay it forward to be in its infancy. That's where practical application in building up others will be invaluable. So please, if you could use some help, you'll be doing me a huge favor. Am I ready, not quite. Am I comfortable with it, absolutely not (lol), but greatness only comes when one stretches outside of their comfort zone. Stretch away!!!!
I Love You All!
