On August 27, 2017 Mandy Olson and her two small children were evacuated from their home due to torrential flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey near Houston, TX. The unimaginable has happened and they have suffered extreme loss due to damages caused by the floodwaters. The outpouring of support by Mandy's friends and loved ones from across the country has led to the creation of this campaign page. Thank you for giving generously to help this bright light get back on her feet. 

Mandy has renters insurance on her apartment but the policy does not cover flood damage. She has applied for assistance through FEMA, but so have 325,000 others as a result of this storm. While we are hopeful, it will most likely be a long time before she gets any answers regarding aid.

Funds from this campaign will help replace items lost in the storm. They lost almost everything but each other:

• living room furniture - couches, recliner, ottoman, end tables
• television
• refrigerator
• washer and dryer
• dining room furniture
• 3 bedroom sets
• toys for the children
• a children's kitchen for a sweet 4 year old girl
• tools 
• clothes for the family (Mandy will need clothes for work)
• kitchen supplies and utensils
• household goods
