Dear Friends and Family,

When the unexpected hits and uncertainty looms, it is a breath of fresh air to know that friends and family are always there to support. I am eternally grateful for the outpour of goodwill and kindness you have all extended to us to ensure Mariah's recovery.

Mariah is an exceptional human being that has made lasting connections with so many of you. She is slowly making progress after the scariest day of our lives occurred, January 20th, when we discovered that she had a brain aneurysm that expediated a helicopter transport to Westcher hospital. While doctors worked on stopping the bleeding in her brain that is when blood clots formed that made the task of keeping her in our presences a hurdle. Today, our Mariah is with us and striving! As she continues to regain speech, we will commence physical therapy for her left side of her body.

Mariah is a fighter, survivor, and beam of sunshine that is not giving up on her dreams, her art, nor her pursuit to attend college. We welcome all your positive energy to continue to encourge her spirits. Taking one day at a time and cherishing every moment with her. Thanks to your love and care, we can support Mariah through her recovery.
