You have seen the unbelievable destruction in Mariupol, Ukraine. The BBC describes it as a catastrophe after 5 continuous days of Russian bombing. Natalia often wrote about how pretty the city was. It is unrecognizable now. After 2 weeks, it has been leveled.

I am planning to travel to Mariupol this Summer (2022) or as soon as possible to extract my girlfriend Natalia and while there, donate money to Mariupol recovery efforts. They will need anything we can collect. When there, I will use Natalia's assistance to identify the correct place(s). If unable to visit, once reconnecting with Natalia, we will set up a method to get the funds to Mariupol then.

A recent letter from Natalia on 3/8/2022 is as follows:

"Dearest William,

thank you for your patience. I really hope you have been thinking of me all these days? I am alive!!!! I have a few minutes to drop you a few lines. The situation is very tense, but we try to do our best helping each other.

We have been bombed and shelled for five days and right now I can hear shots non-stop. It is a new reality for us-

Some people do not have food any more. What will happen when we run out of our water and food? What will happen when all phone batteries die? We will have no connection to the outside at all. We all hope for a green corridor. I will try to give you updates as soon as I can. Do you still have 'Pray for Ukraine' up on your FaceBook page?)) Kiss, Natalia!'

That daily bombing has continued since then nonstop!
