Hello everyone. As some of you know I have been really sick for three months now. I've gone to countless doctor visits and have had extensive medical tests. All tests have returned no answers as to what is wrong with me. I've lost a significant amount of weight in that time and continue to lose weight. I am not keeping any food down and am constantly exhausted from lack of nutrition. I've been so weak that I've fallen down at home. I get lightheaded and at times my legs shake from not being able to support my own weight. I have had to be taken to Urgent Care for IV treatment because of severe dehydration. I've always had a healthy appetite but now get scared of even eating because I know my symptoms get worse when I do. I've tried dietary restrictions, fluid based diets and BRAT diet. Nothing helps and although I have good days my bad ones seem to outnumber them. It's been difficult, at times impossible, to work or even enjoy a day off. I'm now seeing a specialist and have more procedures to undergo in hopes of finding out what's wrong with me. I have a CT scan with contrast and a Colonoscopy this week. I am a proud, stubborn person who finds it difficult to ask for help. Unfortunately my medical bills from the ARC Internal Medicine, Urgent Care and now the Gastroenterologist are too much for me. The CT and Colonoscopy are several thousand dollars and even with my insurance the cost of all this is overwhelming. I've had to swallow my pride and extend my hand as I humbly ask for any assistance any of you can give.I would greatly appreciate it and be forever in your debt for helping me out in my time of need.For those of you can't help financially I still ask that you send whatever prayers, luck positive vibes...any and all of these my way. I thank you all who know and have been AMAZING with support and encouragement and am sorry for leaving some of you in the dark.
