This is a personal request for help: to The Believers, my family, friends and everyone with a compassionate heart. This is a very difficult request to write because I’ve always believed in staying strong by keeping my faith and handling life‘s challenges with dignity. But today I’m humbly asking for your help.I am a senior in my late 60s living on a fixed income that forces me to only be able to afford a minimal living. I have just recently found out that I have serious medical issues concerning my bone marrow and blood which cause severe anemia in the processing and manufacturing of my blood. My doctors have referred me to an out of network and out of state specialist and advise me to move quickly. Someone who deals with holistic medicine and doesn’t suggest any type of bone cutting or chemotherapy and is experienced with this condition. Unfortunately, my insurance will not cover the cost of receiving this medical care, so travel, medical visits, treatments, lodging and transportation will have to be paid out of pocket. This is what has placed me in this situation I never expected. Time is extremely important when facing a serious illness and I don’t want financial barriers to stand between me and the care that could help restore my health and improve my quality of life. If you are able to help, no gift is too small and every donation brings me one step closer to getting the treatment I need. If you would happen to read this and aren’t able to give financially, I would be deeply grateful if you will keep me in your prayers and share my story/link with others.
