Towards the end of summer, I started to experience severe knee pain to the point of needing a brace for daily support. After several visits to a specialist and an MRI, no one could tell me what was wrong. One doctor suspects a PCL tear, while another suggests it will go away in time.

I was considering getting another opinion when I woke up one day not being able to stand up straight. I have experienced back pain since my teens, and have seen chiropractors throughout my 20s. After some X-rays and an adjustment, we discovered I had scoliosis and have two abnormal curves in my spine. I am now apart of an aggressive rehabilitation program that has already reduced a lot of my daily pain! The adjustments have also allowed some of my knee pain to dissipate, although we still do not know what is wrong with it.

I'm grateful for the progress I have made, although none of it has come cheap. The MRI and the spinal rehabilitation program are not covered by insurance, and I have had to pay for it all out of pocket, creating a financial burden. If you are able to help at all, I would appreciate it!
