Our beloved cat was being her playful self when she fell and punctured her eye. After a visit to the ER we were given antibiotics to prevent infection and pain meds to keep her comfortable. We were then referred to a veterinary ophthalmologist. The ophthalmologist said the puncture is deep enough that she will lose her eye without surgery and we are not in the financial position to pay for it.
