Help Support My Father, Jacob

Hello everyone,

This is my father, Jacob. In 2011, he suffered a hemorrhagic stroke that left him completely paralyzed on his left side. Since then, he has been unable to walk and relies on others for his daily care and needs.

My mother is his full-time caregiver, and I am responsible for supporting them financially. I am also a single mother to my beautiful 9-year-old child. Every day, I do everything I can to provide for my family and ensure my father receives the care he needs.

I cover the cost of his medications, diapers, underpads, hospital stays, doctor appointments, medical supplies, and other necessities. On top of that, I work hard to keep a roof over our heads, food on our table, and stability in our lives.

Unfortunately, the rising cost of groceries, medical care, and prescriptions has made it increasingly difficult to keep up. There have been times when I’ve had to make impossible choices between paying for medication and buying food. Despite working tirelessly, I am struggling to stay ahead of mounting expenses and outstanding bills.

As difficult as it is for me to ask for help, I have reached a point where I can no longer do this alone. Family means everything to me, and I am determined to continue caring for my father with the love and dignity he deserves. Right now, I simply need a helping hand to get back on my feet and continue providing for him.
