Medical Needs for Stroke

Greetings and Thanks...

My wife suffered a stroke and a heart stoppage (cardiac arrest), and was given a low possibility of surviving after the paramedics resuscitated her.

She was ventilated at the hospital for about two weeks and given a low chance of survival. By God's mercy, she was able to sustain her own breathing after a second attempt to remove the ventilator, but this was just the beginning.

She was in the hospital for half of the year, then in and out of the hospital for the other half. She was dealing with seizures, diabetic setbacks and psychological issues due to the stroke event. And a few months later, our insurance company canceled my wife's medical coverage while she was still hospitalized.

We are still struggling with paying bills, prescriptions and continence supplies for my wife. It is expensive to take care of her and our needs. The focus has been my wife, and paying utilities, and rent; that's it. There is no money left for anything else, so the bills are piling up and the collection calls are increasing.

Although things are hard, I am not here to complain, God has been so gracious and our source of strength. I thank him so much for helping us make it this far. If it was not for him, my wife would have died that day. If it was not for him, my wife would not have been able to breath on her own. If it was not for him, I would not have survived a car accident that happened while my wife was in the hospital.

If it was not for him, my wife would be in mental institution right now because of misdiagnosis, the doctors not considering that the hallucinations were because of the stroke and the cardiac arrest event.

Please join us in prayer and believing God for the full physical restoration of my wife's body, yes I believe she can and will walk again, and for her mind and emotional healing... And if you have an urge to help, I do appreciate your kindness.

Best Regards,

Michael
