Hey there! My name is Christina, and I want to share my journey with you. Almost 12 years ago, I made the courageous decision to get clean and sober. Despite the challenges, I was doing well until my health took a turn for the worse. I was diagnosed with CHF, a large ulcer on my right leg, High Blood Pressure, and Hypothyroidism. Just when I thought things couldn't get any tougher, I received the devastating news that I have stage 4 Thyroid Cancer. It's been an uphill battle, and I have been facing rapid decline in health, enduring excruciating pain, and struggling with everyday tasks. My daughter and her partner had to move back in with me to offer their support as I navigate this difficult journey. Currently, I'm fighting to get disability assistance with the help of my lawyer, but in the meantime, I'm finding it challenging to cover all my bills especially those that my medical insurance doesn't include, resulting in significant financial strain. I'm reaching out with hope in my heart, praying that someone generous and kind-hearted will find it within themselves to support me during this tough time.
