Medical Treatment support
Hi friends!
I'm reaching out for support for Chandon and me as we continue on our journey toward healing through medical testing and treatment.
We've been incredibly blessed with help from family, and I'm so grateful. But as many of you know, truly recovering, especially when it comes to complex or chronic health issues, can be both challenging and costly here in the U.S. The kind of care that actually gets to the root cause often isn’t covered by insurance, which means we have to pay out of pocket.
Chandon and I will be receiving care primarily through Freedom Integrative Wellness and Restore Hyper Wellness—both of which offer treatments tailored to our needs, but not covered by insurance. Based on where we are in our health journey, we're anticipating a 3–6 month treatment plan.
Any contribution truly helps.
To give you a bit of background:
Chandon has been facing serious health challenges for the past three years. His immune system is severely compromised—he has low lymphocytes, which means he can’t fight off infections the way a healthy person can. This has affected every part of his life, including his ability to attend school in person. We've tried everything we could over the years, and we’re finally starting to get some real answers.
As for me, I'm still in the diagnostic process, but it's suspected that I’m dealing with neurological Lyme disease, TMJ dysfunction, and several co-conditions. My symptoms have worsened to the point where I can no longer drive, and my cognitive function has become a daily challenge. I’m doing everything I can to get back to being myself again—for Chandon, and for me.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. And to those who feel led to donate: we are deeply grateful for your kindness, generosity, and support on this road to recovery. Every gift brings us one step closer to health.
With love and gratitude,
Karigan
