Medical Trip to Cameroon
Hi, my name is Abby Anderson, and I am a current first-year medical student at Midwestern University's Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. This May, a classmate and I are going to be travelling to Cameroon with ASCOVIME, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing essential healthcare and education services to underserved rural communities. We will be working closely with Dr. Georges Bwelle, the founder of ASCOVIME and the chief of general surgery at Yaounde Central Hospital. While in Cameroon, we will be participating in campaigns in which we will travel with Dr.Bwelle and his team of surgeons, nurses, and volunteers to remote regions across the country, providing medical care free of charge. On the campaigns, we will meet with many people who have traveled for days to receive medical care or have never received care before.
ASCOVIME is an entirely nonprofit organization that relies on donation such as yours to operate. Your generous support will be instrumental in enabling me to contribute to this wonderful organization and make a difference in the lives of those who need it.
If you are interested in donating medical or school supplies, please reach out to me personally.
Thank you for all your support!
