On October 2nd, our family lost my mom, Melanie Franklin. She was more than just a mother—she was a source of love, strength, laughter, and comfort to everyone who knew her. Her passing has left an emptiness that words can’t fully describe.

As we continue to grieve, we are trying to honor her memory by gathering friends and family together to remember her life, share stories, and celebrate the love she gave so freely. We are planning a small memorial gathering, but the cost of picnic table rentals and related expenses has become more than I can manage on my own.
