The family of Chrystle Dwiggins are asking in lieu of flowers to donate to a memorial fund that will be used to purchase a tree and paver at Forest Park in St. Louis in honor of Chrystle.  We would also like to purchase a paver at the Hospice House where she spent her last days.  

Forest Park was special to Chrystle as her care was across the street at Barnes Jewish Hospital.  She spent a lot of time there and on her better days while on the Oncology floor or the ICU floor she would get enough strength up and walk down to the family viewing area of the hospital which overlooked the park.  She loved seeing the different color of the leaves on the trees, watching the runners and bicyclists in the mornings.  She would sip her coffee and have something to take her mind off the fact of being at the hospital.  It was her little oasis, that park.

The Hospice House staff treated Chrystle with the utmost respect and dignity.  They made sure she was comfortable and felt at home. It was a special place for her and for Chrystle's family.
