Memorial fund for Pauline
As some of you know, Pauline Murphy passed away on March 28th and is continuing her work as an Angel in Heaven shining down on everyone she knew. Pauline spent her whole life doing whatever she could to make others happy. She liked to go crazy celebrating everyone's birthday and holidays, but she especially loved to go all out for Christmas! Everyone who knew her felt Pauline's warmth, love, and giving nature.
Many of you might not know that Pauline struggled off and on with several health challenges through the years, but her biggest battle was her fight against an extremely rare condition called Mobile Cecum Syndrome. A cecopexy was performed in 2008 and took care of the problem until the symptoms returned at the end of 2019. It took over 3 years for any doctor to listen and care enough to try and help. They removed 7 inches from her colon in October of last year, but unfortunately contracted pneumonia and C-Diff (clostridium difficile colitis) and was in the ICU for 8 days of an 11-day hospital stay in November. We almost lost Pauline then, but she was a fighter and was strong enough to get out and keep fighting, but ultimately was taken from us way too soon this past week!
Pauline has joined her dad Paul and big brothers, Bill & Anthony, and has left behind her mom Antonia, her husband of over 30 years, Mike, sons Tyler, Tym, Tyson, and Tanner, their significant others, and 12 grandkids who loved their Mimi very much!
Pauline did not have life insurance, and there was a lot of time Mike was unable to work because of numerous visits to the Emergency Department, doctor appointments, at least ten surgeries, and 60+ days admitted to the hospital over the last 3 1/2 years.
This fund is to help Pauline's family with her memorial and final expenses and to help Mike with other financial needs as he tries to move on without Pauline, the love of his life and soulmate since 1991!
