Miami Symphony Orchestra
The Miami Symphony Orchestra joins Lumutu (Juan David Vidaurre) in his upcoming album Poemas De Alhelí.
Poemas De Alhelí, third album by the jazz guitarist, composer and singer, merges elements of Salsa, Jazz, Symphonic Music and Rock, in search of new horizons in the trajectory of Latin American conceptual music.
Nine songs, played by a salsa fusion band, dressed in poetic lyrics sung by Lumutu illustrate a chronological story that begins with the passing of Astromelia; a character based on his maternal grandmother. The pieces are accompanied by three orchestral movements that open, divide into two parts and close the album.
Under the direction of Maestro Eduardo Marturet, the orchestra will record these movements at Criteria Studios; where musical stars such as The Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, and James Brown have famously recorded.
