From the moment you meet Michele, you are met with love. She has always been a light in the lives of those around her—faithful, kind, and selfless. An active member of her church, Michele has dedicated her life to serving others, especially through her work in the Children's Ministry. Even now, in the midst of her battle with cancer, her heart remains steadfast in her love for God, her family, and her church community.

Michele’s journey took an unexpected and difficult turn in late 2024. What began as persistent back pain soon revealed a far greater challenge. After months of doctor visits without answers, a fall in December led to the discovery of two major cracked vertebrae that required surgery for her to walk again. But it was during these tests that doctors uncovered something even more devastating—stage 4 cancer that had spread throughout her body. The diagnosis was overwhelming, with cancer affecting her pancreas, liver, kidneys, bones, and more.

Despite this unimaginable news, Michele’s faith has not wavered. She has faced each challenge with incredible strength (that is why she is my VIKING), leaning on the love of her husband, Jesus, and her son, Julian. As a family, they are holding onto hope—hope for God’s healing, for His miracle, and for the opportunity to spend more time together. Yet, they also recognize the reality of this fight and are preparing for whatever God’s plan may be, and as Michele would want His glory to be delivered.

Michele has always given so much to others—her love, her time, her faith. Now, we ask for support in return. This fundraiser is to help ease the burden of medical expenses, daily necessities, and the costs of care, allowing Michele to focus on what matters most—her time with family and the love of those around her.
